If court bills don’t have teeth, then you won’t feel the bite

With the increasing hardship on the trial courts from lack of funding and resources, the legal community continues to work together to relieve the pressures on the system. A recent example is Gov. Jerry Brown's approval of Assembly Bill 2230 last week that includes streamlining the labor intensive separate statement requirement for motions to compel further responses to discovery requests, inter alia.
