U.S. Soccer denies men’s and women’s teams can be compared in equal pay lawsuit

The U.S. Soccer Federation has responded to a discrimination lawsuit filed by the Women’s National Team by denying that it is a common employer for the male and female players, whose responsibilities and pay structure are too dissimilar to sustain the women’s case for equal pay.
