What is the deal with Jefferson v. Compton?
Some California school districts are employing a little-known practice loosely titled, “Recommendation for Reassignment,” to demote administrators. It is little-known because it does not exist in statute but instead relies on language buried deep in a somewhat obscure appellate ruling.
