Lawsuit: Whole Foods not warning consumers of arsenic-contaminated water

In a new lawsuit filed by the Center for Environmental Health, Whole Foods is accused of not disclosing the amount of arsenic in some bottled water it sells.

The nonprofit watchdog Center for Environmental Health has filed a lawsuit against Whole Foods Market and Allegro Coffee for allegedly exposing consumers to arsenic-contaminated bottled water.

Filed Friday in Alameda County Superior Court, the complaint alleges Whole Foods, and it's subsidiary Allegro, have not adequately warned consumers of the arsenic levels in the Starkey Spring Water the companies sell in stores.
