Employers and social media: What is there not to ‘like’?

Today’s employers face new challenges regarding their employees’ use of social media that raise important compliance issues. Social media has become the “modern water cooler” where employees turn to discuss workplace issues with co-workers and the general public. Because social media issues are a relatively recent phenomena in the workplace, all of the legal issues raised by social media use have yet to be fully fleshed out.
