Labor commissioner finds Trader Joe’s, Grocery Outlet liable in alleged wage theft
The state labor commissioner cited an Anaheim-based inventory company for more than $1.65 million in alleged wage theft violations for not paying dozens of workers who counted items at Trader Joe’s and Grocery Outlet stores.




The state labor commissioner cited an Anaheim-based inventory company for more than $1.65 million in alleged wage theft violations for not paying dozens of workers who counted items at Trader Joe's and Grocery Outlet stores.
All three companies are appealing the citations, the state agency said in a news release Tuesday.
