He was formerly the managing partner at the San Francisco and Menlo Park offices of Hogan Lovells. Before he entered private practice, Shepard was chief of public integrity at the U.S. Department of Justice’s criminal division and interim U.S. attorney in Chicago. He is a regent of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
