LA Judge Holly Kendig says goodbye to ‘highest honor’

“Serving as a jurist is the highest calling within the legal profession,” Kendig said after her appointment to the bench in 2003.

After almost 20 years on the Los Angeles County Superior Court, Judge Holly Kendig announced she is stepping down on May 6.

Serving as a jurist “is the highest honor an attorney could achieve. I was also drawn to the bench because it was a way to give back to the community,” she said in a statement Tuesday.
