Jury awards $19.5M to bicyclist struck by Jeep

In response to defense arguments about a lapse in the client’s medical care, attorney Jason P. Fowler said the PARRIS Law firm team emphasized, “because of his brain injury and because of his background, he was just let down by the system and did not receive the care that he should’ve been getting.”

Attorneys with PARRIS Law Firm won a $19.5 million jury verdict for a man who was struck by a Jeep while riding his bike. At trial, defense attorneys with Loya Casualty Insurance Co. argued that the plaintiff’s injuries were minor because they still allowed him to work.
