Justices reject challenge to conversion therapy law

The 9th Circuit decision affirmed a Washington state law in a case nearly identical to an unsuccessful 2014 challenge to a similar California law.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday denied review of a 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling that upheld a Washington state law banning conversion therapy on minors by health care professionals.
