California’s online privacy protections can go into effect

The Court of Appeal ruling comes as state lawmakers are evaluating several news bills to regulate the technology industry.

Writing for a 3rd District Court of Appeal panel, Justice Elena J. Duarte reversed a trial judge who delayed by one year enforcement of the state's new online privacy regulations.
