Conflicts, defamation cited to disqualify counsel in talent agency suit

The motion claims that plaintiffs’ counsel Bryan J. Freedman is simultaneously representing plaintiff Brian Cho in a California Department of Fair Employment and Housing complaint, allowing him to be in possession of confidential information.

Attorneys for the majority shareholder of a talent agency accused of fatal mismanagement, drug abuse and sexual harassment have moved to disqualify the opposing counsel, citing conflicts of interest and defamatory public statements.
