Judge halts state claim against X, US court action takes precedence

The judge granted X Corp’s motion to stay the lawsuit in the interests of judicial economy, citing the proposed class action filed in federal court. The plaintiffs did not deny being part of the proposed class action, and the stay will prevent conflicting rulings and inefficiencies.

A San Francisco judge on Tuesday paused a state court lawsuit brought against X Corp. by three Twitter employees who were laid off after Elon Musk’s purchase of the company, ruling that the federal court action the plaintiffs are involved in takes precedence.
