Suit over LA DA recall is dismissed

The Recall DA George Gascon Committee said that its claim for fees associated with successful litigation over "insufficient access to voter registration records" will continue, but the lawsuit against the registrar was being withdrawn and a year and a half without a trial date.

A committee to recall Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón has dismissed its lawsuit against the county Registrar of Voters, which it accused of unlawfully rejecting tens of thousands of voter signatures in support of the recall.
