Judge wants more briefing on whether sex harassment claim can be arbitrated

At issue is whether conduct that predated the state’s Ending Forced Arbitration of Sexual Assault and Sexual Harassment Act of 2022 can be arbitrated.

Shortly after a hearing on Tuesday, a Los Angeles County judge scrapped a tentative ruling that AMC Networks could force a former employee to arbitrate sexual harassment claims and issued a minute order calling for more briefing and another hearing.
