Judge frustrated by lack of progress in lead-tainted baby rash ointment case

Attorneys for both sides told the judge that they thought he had stayed discovery in a September 2022 minute order. The judge said he had not stayed anything and ordered the four lawsuits to be consolidated.

Attorneys for Center for Advanced Public Awareness, an environmental rights group, and four companies they accused of selling lead-tainted baby rash ointment, were criticized for "sitting on their hands for three years" by a Superior Court judge who wanted answers regarding the lack of progress in the litigation.
