Disney claims free speech right to fire actress over tweets

Elong Musk is funding the lawsuit by actress Gina Carano, who was fired for tweets the entertainment company objected to.

Lawyers representing The Walt Disney Company on Wednesday said their client has a First Amendment right to dismissal of wrongful termination claims by an actress who alleged a series of tweets she posted led to her firing from a “Star Wars” television show.
