After a 10-week trial, 41 government witnesses and less than 12-hours of jury deliberations, Los Angeles criminal defense boutique Kaplan Marino secured a not guilty verdict for the 82-year-old former CEO of an engineering firm accused of bribing a Hawaii prosecutor.
Other current and former executives at Mitsunaga & Associates Inc. and the prosecutor, Keith Kaneshiro, were also acquitted alongside Dennis Mitsunaga, the chief executive, on May 17.
