Supreme Court's social media opinion cited in former Disney actress' lawsuit

Lawyers for Disney say the Supreme Court's analysis in Moody and Paxton supports the dismissal of Gina Carano's lawsuit against the company.

A recent opinion from the U.S. Supreme Court concerning the constitutionality of state regulation of online platforms' content moderation all but confirmed Disney's right to terminate its business with actress Gina Carano over tweets she posted that the company felt didn't align with its brand, its attorneys argued in a supplemental court filing.
