Jury gets flight attendants' case claiming pilot's sexual assault and harassment
An attorney for the plaintiffs told the jurors not to be swayed by the defense's attempt to shift blame to the flight attendants or the airline. A federal jury on Tuesday was handed a multimillion-dollar civil case brought by two former longtime American Airlines flight attendants who claimed a pilot sexually assaulted and harassed them while on duty.
The plaintiffs claimed the misconduct reached its boiling point in a hotel elevator in Brazil after the pilot's request for alcohol was denied.
