SEC drops case against former PwC auditor in Mattel matter

The case, dropped on Friday, centered on audit work that preceded a $109 million financial restatement by the toymaker.

The Securities and Exchange Commission has dismissed its administrative proceedings against Joshua Abrahams, a former PricewaterhouseCoopers partner who had been accused of professional misconduct related to Mattel Inc.'s 2017 financial statements.
