Alameda County DA Pamela Price recalled by voters

Price had faced criticism from opponents who accused her of being too lenient with criminals. Her exit comes two years after the recall of fellow progressive Chesa Boudin from the San Francisco County district attorney's office

Alameda County District Attorney Pamela Price was recalled by 64.8% of voters in Tuesday's election halfway through her four-year term as opponents accused her of being too lenient with criminals.

Price, the first Black woman to hold the office, is also the first elected DA in the county to be recalled.
