MGA, pop group argue in post-trial briefs over $71.4M jury verdict

Attorneys for the OMG Girlz - as well as Clifford "T.I" Harris and his wife and group founder Tameka "Tiny" Harris - argued their proposed $17.8 million disgorgement award, in addition to over $53 million in punitive damages, was appropriate under trademark law.

Attorneys for toymaker MGA Entertainment in a copyright dispute against rapper T.I. argued a pop group is not entitled to any of a $71.4 million federal jury verdict because the members failed to prove the company intentionally infringed their trade dress when it released a line of flashy dolls.
