Best Buy accused of false advertising scheme over sale prices

The complaint accuses the retail giant of misleading consumers into believing they are getting a deal on sale items.

Best Buy Inc. has been hit with a putative class action lawsuit brought by customers accusing the company of perpetuating a "massive and consistent" false advertising scheme to inflate the initial prices of appliances to "trick" consumers into believing they are getting a deal on sale items.
