U.S. District Judge William D. Keller, one of the longest-serving jurists in the Central District of California and a fixture of the Los Angeles legal community for more than four decades, died Sunday. He was 91.

Nominated by President Ronald Reagan in 1984 and confirmed that October, Keller served on the federal bench for 41 years, taking senior status in 1999 but never truly slowing down. He was remembered as a tireless worker, a mentor to generations of law clerks, and a judge ...
