Chiquita Canyon Landfill closure unlikely to impact ongoing mass tort litigation

An attorney leading the charge against Chiquita Canyon Landfill said on Monday that the waste company's sudden closure last week will have little to no effect on the mass tort litigation that it has been defending since 2023.
