Attorney accuses Neighborhood Legal Services of race discrimination, retaliation
An attorney claims racial discrimination and retaliation by Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County after she said she had been sidelined, placed on leave and ultimately constructively discharged for whistleblowing.




A former attorney with Neighborhood Legal Services of Los Angeles County has sued the community legal aid organization.
Sarah O. Clifton, represented by Kevin W. Chiang of Equity Legal Group PC, claims that her supervisor, Minyong Lee, subjected her to differential treatment that was racially motivated, and when she reported it, she was forced to take leave before she was constructively discharged.
