ATTORNEY

The San Francisco Regional Office of the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission has one opening for an attorney within the Enforcement staff. Applicant must possess a J.D. degree and be an active member of the bar in good standing (any jurisdiction). In addition, applicant must have two years post J.D. experience as a practicing attorney, including one year of experience in securities litigation, complex business litigation or federal financial regulatory matters. Duties of an Enforcement staff attorney include investigating possible civil securities law violations, developing evidence, recommending actions to the Commission, drafting pleadings and leading, co-chairing, or assisting trials and administrative proceedings.
