SAN MATEO -- Superior Court Judge Nicole S. Healy wants attorneys to advance clear arguments to help her reach a conclusion.

"What I really want is for people to be prepared," said Healy, who worked as a federal prosecutor and in private practice for three decades before Gov. Gavin Newsom appointed her to the San Mateo County bench in July 2021.
