Christine Parkins Johnson joins Nelson Hardiman from the global firm of McDermott Will & Emery, where she counseled healthcare organizations on complex regulatory compliance and transactional issues. Jerry D Roth joined Union Internationale des Avocats as president-elect.

Mr. Roth, who will become president of UIA at next year's congress in Luxembourg, will serve as only the fifth president from the United States in its 91-year history, and will be the first from the Western United States. He will take over from the newly installed president, Issouf Baadhio, of Burkina Faso.
