Retired Commissioner Glenn P. Oleon sat for a decade on the Alameda County Superior Court bench, and he ran a family law courtroom there for eight years.

"I have really intimate contact with litigants at what is usually a very important and very stressful point in their life," Oleon said. "And it's an area where I really feel I can make a positive difference in helping people get back on the right track."
