I am a trial lawyer and frequently hear the idiotic cocktail banter about frivolous lawsuits and ambulance chasers with GPS navigation. These rants can easily be explained by ignorance, Ann Coulter and gin. However, I cannot remain mute when "This is Spinal Tap" is used to show that the renaming of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America is futile.
