HP Plans to Acquire Mercury
SAN FRANCISCO - The proposed $4.5 billion acquisition of Mercury Interactive Corp. by technology solutions giant Hewlett-Packard Co. would increase annual revenues of HP's software operation to $2 billion and establish a global support platform for the would-be subsidiary, said Bruce A. Mann, a corporate partner at Morrison & Foerster who represented Mercury Interactive in the deal.
