Aptos Litigator Gets Seat on Santa Cruz Bench
SAN FRANCISCO - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed Paul P. Burdick to a seat on the Santa Cruz County Superior Court on Thursday. Since 1989, Burdick, a 52-year-old Democrat from Aptos, has been a partner with Dunlap & Burdick where he specialized in personal-injury and insurance litigation. He began his legal career in 1979 at the criminal-defense firm Britton & Jackson. He graduated from the University of Santa Clara School of Law.
