Ex-Gemstar Official Agrees to Pay $1.3 Million
SAN FRANCISCO - A former Gemstar-TV Guide executive accused of inflating the company's licensing and ad revenues will pay more than $1.3 million to settle civil charges alleging she schemed to defraud investors, the Securities and Exchange Commission announced Tuesday.
