Internet Can Help Companies Win 'The Battle of the Forms'

Sellers naturally want to sell on their own terms, and buyers want to buy on theirs. This not only has led to confusion about whose terms are in place but also has misled companies into erroneously thinking that their own terms and conditions controlled important parts of the deal, such as payment, product acceptance or rejection, liability for taxes or warranty.
