Oral Argument Indicates Court May Overturn 'Festo'
Focus Column - By Johm T. McNelis - A Supreme Court decision that should be announced in the next six weeks will affect the value of over one million U.S. patents. Eighteen months ago, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit altered the traditional test for determining the scope of patent claims under the doctrine of equivalents in Festo Corp. v.
