TOP CAR COMPANIES JOIN TO MAKE BETTER ENGINES
Hyundai Motor Co., DaimlerChrysler AG and Mitsubishi Motors Corp. have formed a new company, Global Engine Alliance. The terms of the deal, announced May 6, were not disclosed.
Global Engine Alliance will design, develop and engineer new in-line four-cylinder gasoline engines. The three carmakers will put the engines in future car models.
