Murder Conviction Reversed Because Police Coerced Admission
SAN FRANCISCO - A federal judge has thrown out the murder conviction in a grisly Salinas triple slaying because police detectives coerced an admission from the defendant that he stole two rifles and supplied them to the men who killed a Salinas family in 1994.
