Policy Must Pay to Defend Fatal Shooting By Teen Son

SAN FRANCISCO - Parents of a 16-year-old boy who accidentally shot and killed his friend are covered by their homeowners' insurance against a wrongful death suit despite a policy exclusion for "illegal" acts, the California Supreme Court ruled Monday.
