Brobeck Phleger: SAN DIEGO DRUG FIRM GOES SECOND ROUND FOR MONEY

San Diego's Nereus Pharmaceuticals Inc. has raised $23.6 million in a second round of venture financing. Pacific Venture Group of Redwood Shores led the round, which included new investors Novartis Bioventure Fund of Basel, Switzerland; China Development Industrial Bank of Taipei, Taiwan; Blue Dot Capital of Singapore; Hong Kong-based Lotus Biosciences Ventures and Zurich, Switzerland-based Swiss 1st.
