Retired appeals court Justice William A. Masterson has joined JAMS, the nation's largest private, alternative-dispute-resolution firm. Masterson, 70, was an associate justice with the California Court of Appeal for the 2nd District in Los Angeles until last July, when he retired from the bench after nearly 13 years as both a state court and an appellate court judge.
