Judge Delays Hera's Execution

SAN FRANCISCO - Hera, one of the Presa Canarios involved in the January mauling death of Diane Whipple, has survived to fight another day. Last month, the dog was ordered to an immediate death by San Francisco Superior Court Judge James Warren, who is presiding over the murder case against Marjorie Knoller and the manslaughter case against Robert Noel, the dog's attorney-caretakers.
