Morrison & Foerster: AFFYMAX BREAKS TIES WITH BRITAIN'S GLAXOSMITHKLINE
London drug giant GlaxoSmithKline has agreed to sell its California drug-discovery business, Affymax Research Institute, to Affymax Inc. - a new company that a syndicate of venture capital firms, including Patricof & Co. Ventures Inc., has founded. The stock deal is worth $4.3 million.
