Judge Ratifies State's Portion Of Tobacco Pact

SAN DIEGO - A San Diego Superior Court judge Wednesday signed the final judgment that commits the state of California, its cities and counties to the $206 billion national settlement of litigation against the tobacco industry by public entities over Medicaid costs and advertising issues.
