Justices Appear Ready to Side With 9-Year-Old Boy Against MICRA Cap

SAN FRANCISCO - The California Supreme Court indicated sympathy Wednesday for a 9-year-old boy who suffered a partially paralyzed arm during his botched delivery but now stands to receive only $455 a month in damages over the next several decades.
