Private judge's rulings vacated due to conflict, court rules

The 1st District Court of Appeal has vacated the rulings of a private family judge hired by a Napa County couple to resolve their divorce.

The 1st District Court of Appeal has vacated the rulings of a private family judge hired by a Napa County couple to resolve their divorce.

A majority of the three-judge panel determined this month that Nancy Perkovich, the practitioner who was retained to oversee the divorce, did not adequately disclose professional relationships with a lawyer involved in the proceeding.
