The State Bar has rehired the executive search firm whose contract to help the agency find a new top prosecutor was terminated last month.
The bar had severed a $59,500 agreement with The Hawkins Co. of Los Angeles after the Daily Journal inquired about the process used to select the firm that previously recruited the bar's current top two executives to the agency.
