Rancho Tesoro housing development takes shape in San Marcos

The project will comprise 346 single-family homes in four neighborhoods near Discovery Lake.

Grading is underway for a 250-acre residential development in San Marcos.

Rancho Tesoro will comprise 346 single-family homes in four neighborhoods near Discovery Lake. Developed by Brookfield Residential, the community will host a model grand opening next spring.

Brookfield will build out three neighborhoods, and California West Communities will act as the general contractor for the remaining cluster of 71 homes.
