SAN FRANCISCO — Pacific Gas & Electric Co. was convicted on Tuesday of six out of 12 criminal charges in connection with a pipeline blast that killed eight people in a quiet San Bruno neighborhood in 2010.
The verdict puts PG&E on the hook for five felony counts of knowingly not inspecting its gas lines for possible outcomes like the one six years ago.
